This dashboard gives access to aggregated analytics for videos on a SharePoint site. This feature will go live in late January for customers enrolled in the private preview of Stream advanced video analytics. Customers interested in applying to join the private preview may submit an application via the URL associated with this roadmap item. We expect the dashboard to enter general availability in June. The metrics on this dashboard are divided into the following sections: First, the Lifetime Video report contains 3 metrics for videos on the SharePoint site—Total Views, Unique Viewers, and Average Watch Rate. Second, Video Traffic report shows views and viewer patterns across the last 7 days, 30 days, and 90 days. Third, Video Usage shows views by device and geolocation. This feature enables all unlicensed users to request a license from their IT Admin. IT Admins see these requests in MAC and either approve or decline them. Today, unlicensed users who get errors while trying to sign in cannot proceed. With this feature, they can at least express intent to their IT Admin to start using Goals. Microsoft Edge: Customize organization branding in Edge for Business
Admins can customize their organization's branding assets onto Edge for Business. Admins can enable and configure branding onto profile-related UI for profiles signed in with an Entra ID (formerly known as Azure Active Directory) account. You can configure your organization’s details such as name to the profile pill; name, logo, and brand color to the profile flyout; and logo to overlay the Edge for Business taskbar icon. This branding can help users more easily differentiate between multiple profiles and browser windows. SharePoint: Improvements for document library version history limits
We are introducing new version controls that help tenant and site admins or document library owners reduce the storage footprint driven by low value file versions. Today, document library owners can set count-based version limits at the individual document library level. With the upcoming changes, tenant and site admins or document library owners will have two version history settings: 1) Automatic mode that intelligently expires new and existing version based on their age and restore probability, and 2) Manual mode that will allow admins to set time-based version expiration and count limits on new and existing versions. These controls enable admins to set an appropriate level of recoverability and auditability for their organization balanced with storage usage considerations. Admins can customize their organization's branding assets onto Edge for Business. Admins can enable and configure branding onto profile-related UI for profiles signed in with an Entra ID (formerly known as Azure Active Directory) account. You can configure your organization’s details such as name to the profile pill; name, logo, and brand color to the profile flyout; and logo to overlay the Edge for Business taskbar icon. This branding can help users more easily differentiate between multiple profiles and browser windows.
