We're making a change to the shared folder experience in OneDrive. Currently, when a user opens a shared folder in OneDrive, they are taken to a view of that folder within the sharers OneDrive. Microsoft Entra: Expanded support for device-bound passkeys in Microsoft Entra ID
Microsoft Entra ID will add support for device-bound passkeys stored on computers and mobile devices as an authentication method in preview, in addition to the existing support for FIDO2 security keys. This enables users to perform phishing-resistant authentication using the devices that they already have. The existing FIDO2 authentication methods policy and end user experiences will be changed to support this preview release. Today “Deleting of SharePoint files” and “Deleting of SharePoint folders” indicators include permanent file or folder deletion event operations FileDeleted and FolderDeleted respectively. With this update, these indicators also capture files/folders moved to recycle bin which includes FileRecycled, FolderRecycled. You will see more activities being captured by these indicators. Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Insider Risk Management enables customers to create policies based on their own internal policies, governance, and organizational requirements. Adaptive policy scopes enable your organization to define user scopes for policies based on criteria such as geography, group, or other Azure Active Directory attributes. With adaptive policy scopes, policies are automatically updated to include users that match defined risk criteria rather than requiring admins to repeatedly update static lists of users to include in the policy scope. Microsoft Purview Communication Compliance provides the tools to help organizations detect regulatory compliance violations (e.g. SEC and FINRA obligations), such as inappropriate sharing of sensitive or confidential information, harassing or threatening language and sharing of adult content. Communication Compliance enables customers to create policies based on their own internal policies, governance and organizational requirements. Microsoft Entra: Expanded support for device-bound passkeys in Microsoft Entra ID
Microsoft Entra ID will add support for device-bound passkeys stored on computers and mobile devices as an authentication method in preview, in addition to the existing support for FIDO2 security keys. This enables users to perform phishing-resistant authentication using the devices that they already have. The existing FIDO2 authentication methods policy and end user experiences will be changed to support this preview release. For organizations to opt-in to this preview, admins will need to enforce key restrictions to allow specified passkey providers in the FIDO2 policy.Feature ID: 182056

Adaptive Protection will now be available in Government clouds. Adaptive Protection is a capability of Microsoft Purview that dynamically assigns appropriate Data Loss Prevention policies to users based on the risk levels analyzed by the machine learning models in Insider Risk Management. Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Insider Risk Management enables customers to create policies based on their own internal policies, governance, and organizational requirements. A new product usage report will be added in the Microsoft 365 admin center providing insights into active usage of Microsoft Copilot with commercial data protection. The report will include total active users, average daily active users, and active users per platform (i.e. Bing, Edge, Windows, copilot.microsoft.com, and Copilot mobile app). App centric management for app deployment will introduce a new admin setting to control who in the tenant has specific Teams apps preinstalled. Adaptive policy scopes enable your organization to define user scopes for policies based on criteria such as geography, group, or other Azure Active Directory attributes. Microsoft Purview Communication Compliance provides the tools to help organizations detect regulatory compliance violations (e.g. SEC and FINRA obligations), such as inappropriate sharing of sensitive or confidential information, harassing or threatening language and sharing of adult content.
