The first release of Priority cleanup enables admins to create a recurring exception to delete items under a broader retention policy and/or legal hold. Creating a Priority cleanup will require a separate security role, multiple approvers, and will have a complete audit trail. For example, you could reduce storage space by deleting meeting recordings, even when the OneDrive location has a longer retention policy. The feature also helps with scenarios such as data spillage cleanup and processing right to be forgotten requests.Feature ID: 392838

We are expanding the existing ‘Who can record’ control for meeting organizers to include transcription. With this change, meeting organizers with eligible licenses will see a control called ‘Who can record and transcribe’ in the meeting options, which allows meeting organizers to select from three options: (1) organizers and co-organizers, (2) organizers, co-organizers, and presenters, or (3) No one. For example, you could reduce storage space by deleting meeting recordings, even when the OneDrive location has a longer retention policy. These new tasks and journeys will be accessible through the Recommended Actions page. Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Insider Risk Management enables customers to create policies based on their own internal policies, governance, and organizational requirements. Built with privacy by design, users are pseudonymized by default, and role-based access controls and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy. Admins can now select the HR resignation date as a condition to assign a minor, moderate, or elevated risk level. For example, an admin can configure the minor risk level to be assigned when an HR resignation date is sent via the HR connector. Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Insider Risk Management enables customers to create policies to manage security and compliance. The Graph API provides access to Copilot for Microsoft 365 usage insights and analytics, allowing for the creation of customized reporting and analytics.Copilot for Microsoft 365 usage will be added to the Microsoft Graph API, allowing for the creation of customized reporting and analytics.
