This change will automatically extend the protection to standard/shared channels chats in other Microsfot 365 Groups and 1:1/n (non-channel) chats. Microsoft Viva: Admin setting to disable private messages in a Viva Engage (Yammer) network
Admins will have the ability to turn off private message capabilities in their Viva Engage (Yammer) network. Once turned off, users will not see the feature in the frontend. Microsoft Entra ID will add support for device-bound passkeys stored on computers and mobile devices as an authentication method in preview, in addition to the existing support for FIDO2 security keys. This enables users to perform phishing-resistant authentication using the devices that they already have. The existing FIDO2 authentication methods policy and end user experiences will be changed to support this preview release.
